Adult Faith Formation
Continuing to study the Bible and our faith as an adult is a vital part of Christian formation. Many times, Catholics are asked specific questions about our faith and are unable to answer because they have forgotten what they learned, never had the opportunity to learn our beliefs, or are unfamiliar with the current teachings of the Church. We encourage you to participate in our growing adult faith formation program.

Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm in the Education Center beginning April 26th. Classes have started, but it's not too late to join! Coming this fall, St. Joseph will begin a new program called Alpha which is aimed at a community encounter of God. Alpha consists of a free meal, a short video presentation, and time for conversation. If you don’t feel like you’ve ever had a personal encounter with God, Alpha is for you. If you have had a life changing encounter with God before, Alpha is still for you. This is the place that we as a community encounter (or re-encounter) the basic message of Jesus and experience the transforming power of God’s love.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults or RCIA is for anyone thinking about becoming Catholic, for Catholics who were Baptized and now wish to prepare to receive the sacraments of Eucharist and/or Confirmation, and for Catholics who wish to return to the Church. We want you to know, no matter where you are in your faith journey, that you are welcome at St. Joseph. We are deeply committed to helping you recognize God’s voice in your life and follow wherever He is leading you (whether or not it leads you into full communion with the Catholic Church at this time or not).
