The office of Catechetics directs a program of catechetical and sacramental instructions for children from early childhood through the twelfth grade, as well as varied educational opportunities for adults. The Director of Catechetics, Teri Lauwers, may be reached by calling 303-279-4794. Volunteers are solicited and encouraged to participate in this extensive religious education program. The needs are great and the rewards are gratifying. Please call if you have questions.

The 2007 - 2008 class schedule is:

Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade* classes begin Tuesday, September 11, 2007 and continue until Tuesday, April 15, 2008. These classes are held each Tuesday from 5:45-6:45pm in the Parish Center.

2nd through 5th Grade* classes begin Tuesday, September 11, 2007 and continue until Tuesday, April 15, 2008. These classes are held each Tuesday from 7 - 8pm in the Parish Center.

5th and 6th Grade* classes begin Wednesday, September 12, 2007 and continue until Wednesday, April 16, 2008. These classes are held each Wednesday from 6:00 - 7:00pm in the Parish Center.

7th through 12th Grade* classes begin Wednesday, September 12, 2007 and continue until Wednesday, April 16, 2008. These classes are held each Wednesday from 7- 8:15pm in the Parish Center.

Vacation Bible School classes for preschool through 6th grade are held in the morning for a week each summer. It is an opportunity for learning Bible stories, songs, games and crafts. Any Religious Education student who is entering the 7th grade or older is welcome to teach.
