The Catholic Workers Soup Kitchen joyfully serves about 30,000 meals a year. A typical meal consisting of a hearty soup, bread, salad, dessert, and a beverage. Meals are prepared at Denver Inner City Parish and served at the St. Francis Center, Colorado's largest day homeless shelter. The guests are men and women who are generally unemployed, employed in low-income jobs, or homeless. Every second Wednesday of the month, our parishioners meet at the Education Center at 9:00 am to carpool. The parish also financially supports this ministry.
