SMALL
CHRISTIAN COMMUNITIES
Small Christian Communities are groups that gather regularly to share
their faith, help each other in their Christian way through daily life,
relate Scripture to the world around them, and reach out in service to
others. At meetings they share the next Sunday's Scripture readings and
relate these to their present-day lives. If interested in joining a
Small Christian Community please call Teri Lauwers at 303-279-4794. |

EUCHARISTIC
ADORATION
St. Joseph Catholic Parish has Eucharistic Adoration every first Friday
from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by the 5:15 pm Mass. There must
always be someone present with the Lord during adoration periods, and
here at St. Joseph Catholic Parish we ask that there are at least two
people in case one may need to leave for some reason. Archbishop Chaput
requires that each parish seek permission for adoration periods to be
sure there are no abuses to the Eucharist exposed, such as leaving the
Blessed Sacrament exposed while no one is present. It is desirable that
anyone who spends time with Jesus in the Eucharist would end that
devotion by attending Mass that same day and receiving Jesus in
Communion. |

YOUNG
ADULT EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
On Thursday evenings, all young people 15-35 years of age are invited
to join the church from 7-9 pm for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
Prayers and songs are part of the prayer evening, which are taken from
the Spirit and Truth organization of young people gathering for
Adoration throughout the world. The mission of Spirit and Truth is to
bring young adults into relationship with Christ though worship of
Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, study of Church teachings and Sacred
Scripture and celebrations of Catholic traditions, while forming a
community of life-giving relationships. You do not need to commit to
every week but rather can come on a "drop-in" basis. All are invited to
attend, even if you do not find yourself in this age gorup, but the
Prayer will be led by our young Mines' students. |

PRAYER
INTENTION BOOK
Parishioners may list their prayer intentions in the Parish Prayer
Intention Book located in the gathering area on weekends, and on the
prayer stand in the sanctuary on weekdays. An amber candle burns
constantly for these intentions. |
