Father Angelo Ossino is celebrating 60 years as a priest this year, and to honor the occasion, he will celebrate the 11:00 am Mass at St. Joseph’s on Sunday, April 23rd. Please join us for this celebratory occasion, welcome to all who remember Fr. Ossino and to those who have yet to meet him!

Fr. Ossino was ordained April 6th, 1957. He served as pastor of St. Joseph's from 1982-1988, before becoming pastor at St. Pius X Parish in Aurora. Fr. Ossino supervised the planning and building of our current Church building and rectory.

A Nebraska native, Fr. Ossino was incardinated  into the Archdiocese of Denver in 1975. After serving the Archdiocese for many years, he retired in 2002 but continues his ministry by serving at various parishes and as chaplain on cruise ships.

Life has been God’s precious and loving gift to me. I am so thankful for all who have accompanied me on my journey. It has been a real joy growing up in an Italian family and neighborhood and later learning and growing with all the people I have met through the years. I have learned so much about giving and receiving, about faith and prayer and about treasuring good food, good friends and good wine. I have so much to celebrate. Thank you for your love and support.
