We’ve added another time to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation! On the first Friday of the month during Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (4:00 pm to 4:45 pm), Father will be available to hear confessions. Fr. Joseph hopes that this time will be particularly convenient for families as it takes place after the school day.

We will also have a Penance Service during Advent on December 19th at 6:00 pm with multiple priests available.

What do you need to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation:

  1. Examine your conscience (think about your sins - here’s a great resource)

  2. Be sorry for your sins (make an act of contrition)

  3. Have a firm purpose of amendment (promise not to sin again)

  4. Confess your sins to a priest

  5. Perform the given penance

Act of Contrition:

My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart.
In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good,
I have sinned against You whom I should love above all things.
I firmly intend, with Your help, to do penance, to sin no more,
and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.
Our Savior, Jesus Christ, suffered and died for us.
In His name, my God, have mercy.
