Welcome to the website of St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Golden, Colorado! Jesus Christ is forming us into a communion of disciples and sending us on a mission to spread His Kingdom.
In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus formed his apostles in a way that should be repeated in every Christian's life:
“And He appointed twelve, whom He also named apostles, to be with Him, and to be sent out to proclaim the message...”
— Mark 3:13
The apostles encountered Jesus through His call, they were established in communion with Him and thus with each other, and they were sent out to share the gift (charism) they had received from Jesus. Encounter - Communion - Charism: this the pattern of Christian life. Our parish life, as well as our website, takes up these themes.

Also known as Confession or Penance, the sacrament of Reconciliation in a great source of grace, in reconciling us to God. Catholics are encouraged to take advantage of it often, even if they are not aware of having committed a mortal sin. Those who receive this sacrament of mercy receive the gifts of forgiveness and divine inner peace.
Parishioners gather following daily Mass, which begins at 8:00 am, on the first Wednesday of each month to pray the pro-life rosary. Participants then go out to eat together at a local restaurant.
